Who Can Volunteer?
The Food Bank relies on a diverse range of individuals and volunteer groups. We are happy to work with your skills and abilities to find your perfect fit with us.
Our volunteers include individuals, families, senior citizens, corporate groups, religious groups, school groups, and many others who help us help our Neighbors.
The minimum age to volunteer is 12 years old (with supervision of a parent or guardian). Any minor under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Why We Need YOU
The Corner Cupboard Food Bank serves around 2,000 Greene County Residents each month, through the work of only 3 full-time and 2 part-time staff members!
We rely on the dedication of our volunteers to inspect, sort and package tons of food for distribution every day.
How to Volunteer
Volunteering at the Food Bank is easy.
You do NOT need any special training to volunteer, as we will train you during your volunteer service. You may volunteer one time, or on a regular basis.
Each shift lasts about three hours and involves a variety of projects and tasks.
