2nd Annual Greene County Hunger Challenge

Community Garden

Construction of our community garden is underway and with it we can not only provide sustainable food sources for area residents, but promote community service awareness by offering numerous volunteer opportunities. This project is geared toward engaging and educating the public on nutrition, environmental stewardship, diversity and civic responsibility in cooperation with local schools, libraries, area businesses, clubs and organizations—a way to get everyone in our community involved. We also intend on using this project as a tool to increase self-sufficiency through the instruction of basic backyard food production techniques. We are continuously seeking new and innovative ways to partner with like-minded local businesses and organizations to better our community and are very pleased to introduce an exciting new sponsorship opportunity to you. Please consider the various ways you can partner with us through our Community Garden project.
